Sally from Jigsaw Trust got in touch to let us know about a surfaced charity bike ride with a difference - a ride around the famous Top Gear test circuit in Dunsfold Park in Surrey!
You can either cycle round as an individual in the morning if you're feeling competitive or, if you want a fun-filled more relaxed ride with the children, come along to the later family session. One lap of the track is 1.4 miles – how many laps can you do in an hour?
An individual entry costs £10 and it's just £20 for a family- a bargain price for a truly unique experience! There is no minimum or maximum
sponsorship that you need to raise, but every penny goes towards ensuring that Cherry Trees and Jigsaw Trust can continue providing their top quality facilities to the families that need them.
The event takes place Sunday 2nd September. the To sign up and learn more about the event, follow this link.
A little about the two charities: Jigsaw Trust provides specialist education and support to children and young adults diagnosed with autism. They operate their own specialist school and adult learning centre on Dunsfold Park in Surrey. Cherry Trees provide respite care for children and young people with disabilities, based in Ripley near Guildford. Both Cherry Trees and Jigsaw Trust are very closely linked as some of the children that go to Jigsaw School also use the services provided by Cherry Trees. This joint event is to raise money for both charities to provide additional learning resources and equipment.
